This Privacy Policy explains how Instant Website (“Instant,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use our website at instantwebsite.com and the Instant Website mobile app (together, the “Services”). Instant lets you build and run websites with an AI assistant that greets your visitors, answers questions, and captures leads on your behalf.

By using the Services, you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

Account information. When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and authentication credentials so you can sign in and manage your sites.

Content you create. The websites, text, images, settings, and business details you add to build and configure your sites.

Conversations and submissions. Messages exchanged between your website’s AI assistant and your visitors, replies you send, and contact-form submissions left on your sites. This content is created by your visitors and is delivered privately to you as the site owner. See “Data We Process for Site Owners” below.

Device and notification data. If you enable push notifications, we collect a push token from your device so we can alert you to new chats and submissions. We may also collect basic device information (device type, operating system version, app version).

Usage and analytics. Aggregate information about how your sites perform (such as visitor and traffic counts) and how you use the Services, used to provide analytics and improve the product.

Technical and log data. IP address, browser or app identifiers, and log data automatically generated when you interact with the Services.

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, operate, and maintain the Services;
• Authenticate you, manage your account, and secure the Services against fraud and abuse;
• Deliver visitor conversations and form submissions to you, and send push notifications you have enabled;
• Power the AI assistant that responds to your visitors on your behalf;
• Generate analytics and improve the Services;
• Process payments and manage subscriptions;
• Respond to support requests and communicate with you;
• Comply with legal obligations.

When your visitors chat with your site’s AI assistant or submit a contact form, that content is collected on your behalf. In that context, you (the site owner) determine how the information is used, and Instant acts as a service provider processing it for you. You are responsible for handling your visitors’ information in accordance with applicable law and for maintaining your own privacy disclosures where required.

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as needed to operate the Services, including with:

• Infrastructure and hosting providers that store data and run the Services (for example, our database, hosting, and content-delivery providers);
• AI providers that generate the assistant’s responses to your visitors;
• Payment processors that handle billing and subscriptions;
• Push notification services (such as Apple Push Notification service and our notification provider) to deliver alerts;
• Security providers such as bot and abuse-prevention services;
• Authorities or third parties when required by law or to protect our rights, users, or the public.

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Services. We may retain certain information as required to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When you delete your account, we delete or de-identify your personal information within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law.

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information, including encryption in transit and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can update much of your account information directly in the Services, or contact us to make a request. You may disable push notifications at any time in your device settings.

The Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

We may process and store information in countries other than where you live. By using the Services, you consent to the transfer of your information to those countries, which may have different data-protection rules than your own.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
